Great place to come if you're looking for great food with a new twist. They do a wonderful job of bringing in an array of tastes and producing delicious fusion dishes. There were some items on the menu that were interesting but they really brought the flavors together well. Despite it being fusion, they were able to maintain the authenticity of various cuisines. Definitely recommend!!

This restaurant is a must visit! We only had one night in Cambridge, and choosing to dine here was the perfect decision. We sat outside and the service was friendly and attentive. I’ve been a beet salad enthusiast my whole life, and their “roast beets” easily rank in my top three of all time. The flavors in the seaweed salad were fresh and delightful, and the burger? Absolutely amazing. The combination of the soft, squishy bun, crunchy jalapeño chips, and pickles created the perfect bite—I honestly could have eaten two! The fried chicken sandwich was also a hit, with flavors that melded beautifully together. We ended our meal with the Bangkok street noodles (without egg), and while they were good, they didn’t quite live up to the standard set by the previous dishes. The noodles lacked balance—perhaps too much umami or not enough salt. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to try dessert, and I don’t eat seafood, so I can’t comment on those dishes. Despite that minor hiccup, I would absolutely return. The standout dishes far outweighed any small missteps, and I’d love to explore more of the menu.

I came here for dinner on a Monday without a reservation and got hightop seating for a party of 4 (regular tables were all occupied). Overall the serving sizes exceeded expectations for a small plates place, and there were some great flavors! Great, would get again - The Bangkok street noodles had a wonderful smoky flavor and a good amount of pork. - The mushroom fried rice was really good! Nice variety of mushrooms and perfect rice texture and flavor. - The grilled octopus was cooked very nicely. Okay, wouldn't get again - The salmon crudo was fine but nothing special. - The empanada was pretty mid. - The crispy pork belly was not what I expected. Felt more like a salad and the pork wasn't that good compared to the Bangkok street noodles. It's not a cheap place -- if we had gotten 2-3 dishes per person as was recommended, we would easily have spent over $50 per person (most dishes are $17 to $25). But the portion sizes for the rice and noodles were larger than I expected, and those two dishes were quite scrumptious. I'd come back!

The food at Little Donkey is so unique and flavor forward! It’s delicious and always a fun time and I really appreciate how often they change the menu while still keeping some of their star dishes like the fried rice and the miso cacio e Pepe! This post was made in connection with a Toast promotion.

The food went so fast that I didn’t have time to take pictures of it. Little donkey has got a cool vibe with a large interior space that looks a bit like a stripped down factory, giving it some urban hip sensations which are augmented by the steady stream of good Rap music. It is pretty dark in there and it feels kind of like a club, but the food menus, served tapas style, has got a lot of great flavors and innovation, and everything disappeared very fast. The cocktails were also very good. Iberico pork steak was excellent. The tuna tostadas were very savory and delicious and the tuna was very fresh. On the whole, this place is pretty expensive, but they work hard to earn it.

We are back again at Little Donkey, this time as a party of three. First thing I want to do is give a shout out to our server, Whitney, and Joe, who is the floor manager. They took such great care of us. The service was amazing! The food, once again, was outstanding! Fresh oysters, brussel sprouts, bao buns, desserts, all of them were amazing! You can tell this is a kitchen that clicks at all times and really cares about the food that they prepare. Go to Little Donkey. You will not regret it!

Vsry dark place with a great happy hour menu. Had the burger and chicken sandwich. Both were very good and cooked just right. The drinks are super good. The grapefruit drink is good but small and pricey. Staff was great and the place is very open with lots of room.

Little Donkey absolutely exceeded expectations. Our server was super sweet and all the staff worked together well with pre-busing/refreshing plates. The Korean cauliflower and Parker rolls were phenomenal, and the cacio e pepe was hands down my favorite dish of the night.. actual perfection. The cocktail served in the grapefruit was such a cool touch and incredibly refreshing. They also gave us a cute customized menu for our anniversary, which was such a thoughtful detail and made the night feel extra special. Definitely a hidden gem with amazing food, drinks, and atmosphere. The only thing that could make the experience even better would be offering a small complimentary dessert or celebratory toast for anniversaries. We’ll absolutely be back!!!
